María José de Pablo Fernández far better recognized as Cote de Pablo (born November 12, 1979) is a Chilean-American actress and recording artist. De Pablo may be nominated for that ALMA Award, landing a permanent role in the tv series, NCIS. She has also embarked on a career as a songwriter and vocalist.

De Pablo was born in Santiago, Chile, to some Roman Catholic family members. (Coté is a common nickname for María José in Chile).<br> When de Pablo was ten, her mother, María Olga Fernández, received a work in Miami, Florida, at a Spanish-speaking tv network.

There, de Pablo attended Arvida Middle College and New Planet College on the Arts exactly where she studied musical theater. She then attended Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she studied music and theater and appeared in a number of plays. They include: And the Globe Goes ‘Round, The Property of Bernarda Alba, Indiscretions, The Fantasticks, and a Small Night Music. She graduated in 2000.

De Pablo is best regarded for her part about the CBS drama NCIS as Ziva David, a previous Israeli Mossad Liaison Officer, now a Unique Agent for NCIS. De Pablo describes the character as “someone entirely diverse from anyone else on the indicate since she’s been close to males all her existence; she’s employed to guys in authority. She’s not afraid of males.”
