Sean Harland Murray (born November 15, 1977) is an American actor. He is finest identified for playing Timothy McGee within the CBS tv drama NCIS and Danny Walden around the military drama JAG.

Murray was born in Bethesda, Maryland, outside Washington, D.C. He invested his childhood near Coffs Harbour in New South Wales, Australia, and holds dual citizenship within the U.S. and Australia. His mom is Vivienne, fourth wife of American television producer and screenwriter, Donald Bellisario, generating him Bellisario’s stepson.

Murray’s television credits consist of a starring role inside the UPN sitcom The Random Many years plus a supporting role as teenager Zane Grey Hart in CBS’s comedy/western sequence, Harts in the West, with Beau Bridges as his father and Harley Jane Kozak as his mother. Beau Bridges’ father, Lloyd Bridges, also starred inside the sequence, but not being a relative from the Harts. The system was set over a dude ranch in Nevada. His stepsister, Troian Bellisario, now star of ABC Family’s original series Pretty Tiny Liars, also played Sarah McGee on NCIS although his mom, Vivienne appeared in Season 1 of NCIS as the Mysterious Redhead usually witnessed with Leroy Jethro Gibbs

Murray and his wife, Carrie James, had their first kid, a daughter named Caitlyn Melissa Murray, on May well three, 2007. The couple’s second child, River James Murray, was born in Los Angeles on April 22,2010.

From the fourth period commentary of NCIS, Murray revealed that his father, Craig Murray, was once the Executive Officer (XO) of the U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS Enterprise.
