NCIS Season 1 Summary
Season One of NCIS premiered on September 23, 2003. The show was officially titled Navy NCIS to avoid confusion between the title NCIS and CSI until the show had established itself.
Season One introduced future main character Timothy McGee as a guest star in a few episodes. Ongoing plot threads include Ducky’s “meat puzzle”, a mystery which would not be solved until Season Two, threads from al Qaeda, and the mysterious terrorist Ari.
